437: James Manning

James Manning is the pastor of ATLAH World Missionary Church which also operates two private religious schools, Great Tomorrow’s USA Elementary/Middle and Atlah High School.. Manning is a vicious homophobe advocating that gay people be stoned. He advocated that former President Obama be hanged. He claimed Starbucks puts semen in its coffee. He has been accused of abusing the children who attend his school.

In an example of the kinds of psychological abuse inflicted on students, one child was locked in a pitch dark basement for eight hours at a time, three days in a row. His parents approved the punishment. There are many allegations from other students as well of psychological abuse and brainwashing. Manning controls many more aspects of members’ lives than a normal church, even controlling their finances for several members. The church employed several members even withholding wages to force families to discipline children.

When a recently graduated girl shared that he was harassing and touching her, she made a recording which she shared. When he was asked about it, he expelled the students and persuaded their parents to kick them out. He refused to grant them diplomas.

418: Dinesh D’Souza

Dinesh D’Souza is a right-wing, Trump-loving political commentator. He pretends to be an historian but is more accurately described as a conspiracy theorist. His most recent “documentary” was too false and defamatory for FOX News. He was convicted of campaign finance violations, though pardoned by Donald Trump. He leaves a trail of lies, scandal, and malignance. See his Wikipedia bio here.

When Dinesh D’Souza pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws to funnel more money than allowed to a candidate, his wife Dixie D’Souza wrote the following to the judge hearing the case.

Contrary to the statement made in Mr. D'Souza's sentencing memorandum, it is my former husband who has an abusive nature. In one instance, it was my husband who physically abumsed me in April 2012 when he, using his purple belt karate skills, kicked me in the head and shoulder, knocking me to the ground and creating injuries that pain me to this day.

D’Souza was given probation rather than jail time. Then he was pardoned.

396: Shawn Brooks

Shawn Brooks is a Trump super-fan, sports blogger, and keyboard misogynist. He runs several political and sports blogs.

He is the person who doctored a video of Nancy Pelosi, slowing down her words to make her seem drunk. He was on probation at the time after pleading guilty to domestic violence in California. He did not complete the terms of his probation, so there is an outstanding warrant in California.

He is not a famous person though he ran a network of political disinformation sites, inject disinformation into the political environment repeatedly. The debate seemed less about the rush by the alt-right to amplify disinformation that whether it was appropriate to out someone creating it. Good grief.

367: James P. McClusky

James P. McClusky sentenced a school bus driver who confessed to raping a fourteen-year-old girl to probation, ten years probation, and designated him a Level 1 Sex Offender which meant he was not placed on the Sex Offender registry.

357: Morton Klein

Morton Klein is the head of the Zionists of America, a far-right group closely allied with Republican politicians and heavily funded by Republican donors. There are allegations of sexual harassment against him.

In one case, he demanded a young woman whom a lecherous donor had noticed and made sexual comments go meet with the donor. When she refused, he berated her until she quit. Allyson Taylor who was about to take a position at Zionists of America withdrew her application claiming Klein harassed her during the interview. His wife also sought an order of protection alleging abuse, but she now disavows that blaming her lawyer, now deceased.

The additional coverage references the Tablet Magazine expose, but there is almost no coverage at all.

UPDATE: A new lawsuit against ZOA alleges Mort Klein created an atmosphere of racism and sexism at the organization.

321: Mark Halperin

Mark Halperin was a conservative news reporter who worked for ABC, Bloomberg, MSNBC, NBC, and PBS. He now works for NewsMax, a newish news channel founded for people who think FOX is too liberal. His journey from legitimate, legacy media to fact-adverse NewsMax is the result of being accused of sexual harassment and forcible touching by over a dozen women.

In 2017, five women came forward making allegations of sexual harassment and forced touching, with Halperin pressing his genitals against them. This prompted other women to come forward. Allegations of serious sexual misconduct included soliciting sex from coworkers, feeling up women’s breasts, forcible kissing and rubbing his erection against women he worked with. He was fired. Friends in the media tried to get him rehabilitated after he apologized, but his self-pity did not help him.

304: Joe Incoronato

Joe Incoronato was a Dutchess County legislator when in a meeting he said women bring rape and harassment on themselves based on their behavior. The Dutchess Legislature voted 23-1 to censure him for his statements. He responded by introducing a proposal that people can only be censured if convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.

He has apologized for saying it while continuing to give further context that his opinion has not changed. He repeats again and again that a woman who drinks or uses drugs is impaired and more open to rape or assault, not understanding that it is the rapist who rapes. Women drinking or doing drugs is not an invitation to rape.

Censure possible action after legislator's sexual assault remarks.
