Lou Beres was the leader of the Oregon Christian Coalition and Chair of the Multnomah County Republican Party was accused by his daughters and his sister-in-law of molesting them. They called the Child Abuse Hotline, but since the statute of limitations had passed, he was not charged.
While publicly denying this, he admitted that he molested them to a detective.
