1100: Joseph “Oakman” Golinske

Joseph Charles “Oakman” Golinske has been active in the Michigan Proud Boys and other white nationalist organizations. You can find pictures of him at various violent protests and wiht notorious white nationalists such a Nick Fuentes and Enrique Tarrio.

He has also been convicted of sexually abusing children in Michigan and Florida. The child in Michigan was under 13 but he pled down to 2 counts with a child under 17. He was charged in 2019 and in a plea deal that changed the age from 13 to 17. Incredibly, he was given two years probation in October 2022. Under the terms of his probation he was to avoid being with child, not allowed to date someone with children, not go to parks where there are children, and so on. So he moved to Florida and was arrested and pled guilty in a plea agreement in about six weeks with probation again in December 2022.

The Florida child was under 16.

909: Kyle Broussard

Kyle Broussard is a member of Patriot Prayer. He was convicted of rape in 2021, but in March 2023, that conviction was reversed because the trial court excluded his roommate’s testimony that he was usually home, though uncertain if he was home the night of the alleged rape. That he was usually home implies that Broussard wasn’t likely planning in advance to get the woman alone and rape her. Will the state retry the case?

884: Joshua Barnard

Joshua Barnard is one of the Boogaloo Bois, an extreme anti-government group advocating for civil war without a clear ideology other than being pro-gun and pro-violence. Barnard was arrested for suspicion of breaking into a motor vehicle, looting, larceny, aggravated breach of peace, and instigating a riot. In June 2020, just weeks after that arrest, he was arrested again and charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

820: Jack Murphy

Jack Murphy is what John Murphy Goldman prefers to be called. As John Goldman he was the former Senior Manager of Finance, Analysis and Strategy for the Washington, DC Public Charter School Board. As Jack Murphy, he founded The Liminal Order, a monthly subscription online-club for men to teach themselves to be masculine, manly, etc. He was once the king of the manosphere.

When the Charter School Board discovered what Jack Murphy was saying, they put him on leave and then terminated him. He appealed and lost.

Jack Murphy’s online persona is openly misogynist and xenophobic. There’s even a Twitter account archiving some of it because he’s worked to clean up his presentation. He claimed that feminists need rape, though perhaps he regrets that because this article is even gone from the Wayback Machine.

The Denver shooter Lyndon McLeod claimed to be a member of The Liminal Order. That would be merely coincidental if not for the open misogyny expressed by Jack Murphy and Murphy openly admiring McLeod’s books.

He offers an apology and claims redemption on his site, but since he doesn’t say what he’s atoning for, I don’t think it’s for advocating that women be raped. I think he’s apologizing for pandering his girl friend which, in the eyes of the manosphere where he reigns, made him a unmanly, a “cuck” as they began to call him. Pandering, however, is frowned on by the left and the right.

703: Greg Locke

Greg Locke is a Trump-loving internet pastor who pulls stunts like berating customer service people in Target over gender neutral bathrooms or having a meltdown because someone donated to Planned Parenthood in his name. Folks might remember him as the pastor who said there were witches in his church. He also said you cannot be a Christian and vote Democratic. His ex-wife shared abusive texts he sent her and alleged he was physically and emotionally abusive. His wife fled and lived in a women’s shelter. The print press is full of profiles of him that leave out his ex-wife’s claims and normalize his fanaticism.

509: Augustus Sol Invictus

Augustus Sol Invictus is a white nationalist associated with the Nazi group AtomWaffen. He used to be a Libertarian but changed to Republican after Trump was elected. He participated in Unite the Right and has a long history of threatening violence. He is alleged to have strangled his ex-wife and threatened her life with a gun. He was, however, acquitted of all charges because she was terrified of testifying after threats against her life from him and from other people in the white nationalist movements.

He wants a Civil War. He once wrote: “I have prophesied for years that I was born for a Great War; that if I did not witness the coming of the Second American Civil War I would begin it myself.”

While they presented evidence of bruises on his wife’s neck and an audio recording of her describing his attack, since she was unwilling to appear, the jury acquitted.

357: Morton Klein

Morton Klein is the head of the Zionists of America, a far-right group closely allied with Republican politicians and heavily funded by Republican donors. There are allegations of sexual harassment against him.

In one case, he demanded a young woman whom a lecherous donor had noticed and made sexual comments go meet with the donor. When she refused, he berated her until she quit. Allyson Taylor who was about to take a position at Zionists of America withdrew her application claiming Klein harassed her during the interview. His wife also sought an order of protection alleging abuse, but she now disavows that blaming her lawyer, now deceased.

The additional coverage references the Tablet Magazine expose, but there is almost no coverage at all.

UPDATE: A new lawsuit against ZOA alleges Mort Klein created an atmosphere of racism and sexism at the organization.

317: Graham Jorgensen

Graham Jorgensen is a Vancouver, WA, Proud Boys member. He is also been convicted of domestic abuse and stalking. He took a picture of his ex-girlfriend in a Proud Boys sweatshirt and sent it to her and after they broke up, he sent it to a local paper exposing her ties to extremism. She was fired and he bragged about it. It is not good to have a right-wing extremist serving as a deputy, but his actions were still abusive.

As a result, he was charged with cyberstalking.

316: Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith, a member of right-wing militia group Patriot Prayer, was featured in the reality show in Season 3, Episode 4 of Doomsday Preppers, a show that amplifies the paranoid, reactionary, and the radical right. His group is called The Marauders because they plan to steal their supplies. They showed him with firearms which led to his arrest for illegal possession of firearms. He is not eligible to have weapons because he is a convicted sex offender.

National Geographic didn’t mention he was a convicted child molester but they did show him saying he was an apex predator. Perhaps he meant sexual predator. Is molesting a 14-year-old girl apex?

He was convicted in 2009 for communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl in an Auburn, WA, parking lot. He also pleaded guilty to stealing a motorcycle.
