Erickson Douglas Lee was a police officer in Cornelius, South Carolina, and a youth leader at Morningstar Ministries, leading their Young Special Forces. Lee started the program and ran it. That was where he allegedly met and groomed the boys. He invited him to his home, provided alcohol, showed them pornographic movies and touched them without consent, according to the police. The boys were from 14 to 17 years old.
According to their press statement, Lee is not long a member of Morningstar Ministries. They also said, “Because of his military background and law-enforcement career, there was no initial cause for suspicion.
In this case, when the families of the youth came to the church with allegations of nude drinking parties, showing pornographic films and touching them, the church immediately informed the police. He’s charged with multiple charges of disseminating obscene material to minors and contributing to delinquency of a minor, as well as charged withcriminal sexual contact with a minor, and assault and battery.
